About the job Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for the ongoing R&D innovation projects in the Nutrition segment. This will include (not limited to) the following responsibilities:

  • Lead scope and planning discussions to begin new projects.
  • Lead and ensure project compliance to innovation process (stage gates) are adhered to.
  • Organization and running of regular project meetings of 15+ cross functional team members to track progress.
  • Ensure delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor and control budget + resources required for successful delivery of the projects.
  • Monitor and control risk and issues of project. Lead cross functional team to proactively identify and document project related risk and issues.
  • Taking the lead to manage issues/hurdles which come up along the way creatively with inputs from the full cross-functional team.
  • Provision of risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Appropriate issue escalation when necessary.
  • Ensure monthly project status & metric(s) reporting are completed.
  • Regular updates to senior management, often through presentation format in a formal meeting setting.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered with safety and compliance as a top priority.
  • Continuous improvement of processes linked to project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in consumer goods R&D, Project Management, Supply or similar.
  • Project Management Qualification such as PRINCE2, AGILE or PMP Practitioner is advantageous.
  • Dairy, Food or Nutrition background are advantageous.
