Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setting goals for the team, developing and implementing learning strategies and programs aligned with the business needs and priorities.
  • Create training plans to ensure the store operations team has the required competencies to excel in their roles.
  • Design e-learning courses and review and revise the course materials to ensure they align with operating processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Manage the digital library to ensure that the courses are up to date.
  • Manage the Workday Learning Management System, ensuring that the learning experience for the partners is smoothly executed.
  • Develop strategic and operational plans for the learning & development work group, managing execution and measuring results.
  • Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company
  • Prepares, communicates, and educates client groups and teams on changes in policies and practices within the organization
  • Consults with stakeholders on training and development implications of potential business decisions
  • Oversees training budget and negotiates contracts with training providers
  • Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
  • Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective functional teams
  • Works with respective functional leaders to challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results
  • Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
