About the job Learning and Development Manager
Responsibilities and Duties
- Setting goals for the team, developing and implementing learning strategies and programs aligned with the business needs and priorities.
- Create training plans to ensure the store operations team has the required competencies to excel in their roles.
- Design e-learning courses and review and revise the course materials to ensure they align with operating processes, procedures, and systems.
- Manage the digital library to ensure that the courses are up to date.
- Manage the Workday Learning Management System, ensuring that the learning experience for the partners is smoothly executed.
- Develop strategic and operational plans for the learning & development work group, managing execution and measuring results.
- Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company
- Prepares, communicates, and educates client groups and teams on changes in policies and practices within the organization
- Consults with stakeholders on training and development implications of potential business decisions
- Oversees training budget and negotiates contracts with training providers
- Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
- Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective functional teams
- Works with respective functional leaders to challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results
- Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

- Excellent platform, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and execute business plans
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
