About the job Assistant Manager, Service Operations Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial activities (70%):
- Work with cross functional teams to enhance service business collections
- Improve collection days for the service and repair business by creating process efficiencies to drive timely billing and collections growth
- Coordinate with customers, service sales, service operations and finance teams to resolve any customer disputes
- Planning activities (20%):
- Build annual operating plan and monthly forecast for the service business and analyze actual performance against the estimates
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives to drive process automation initiatives for Annual Operating Plan, and forecast processes
- Measure forecasting effectiveness across product line, offerings, and margin analytics
- Reporting (10%)
- Develop the Management Operating System (MOS) associated with measuring and driving accountability for key performance metrics
- Support Service Director for various data analytics requirements
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 8+ years business experience
- Commercial/Operational Finance experience of a region or business
- Excellent excel/ IT skills including experience with dashboards/ automation etc (mandatory)
- Experience in driving results through influencing the cross functional organization, identifying organizational weaknesses and opportunities, and driving action
- Lean operating experience time in a manufacturing or services business
