As Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager We Rely On You

  • Implement sales action plan to selected market areas as outlined in the marketing plan and effective account management to optimize business opportunities and provides updates to Director of Sales.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange familiarization/site inspection to hotels by corporate clients.
  • Attends all pre-conference and post-conference meetings, as required, arranged by the events department.
  • Promote and forward sales leads for other Shangri-La hotels.
  • Aggressively source new business opportunity within industries through the assigned daily sales visit to volume corporate account by conducting minimum sales calls a week.
  • Closely follows up with business leads, assigned project or duties and advise Director of Sales the job progress.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiations skill to maximize the hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management.
  • Good command in writing & speaking English. Able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, and employees.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationship with all departments throughout the hotel.
  • Inform concerned departments important VIP/group arrival well in advance.
  • Good knowledge of computer (office) software and operates office equipment skillfully.
