Associate, Structured Finance

Job Description

What is the job like?

• Conducts industry and company research, performs financial analysis of companies and other evaluation related work on multiple asset classes (e.g. listed shares, bonds, derivatives, structured products, properties, etc.) as collateral
• Monitors, reviews and analyses regional capital market activities and corporate actions (e.g. IPO, M&A, rights issue, privatisation etc.)
• Develops and prepares client presentation materials, mandate letter and termsheets
• Assists in managing day-to-day execution of structured finance transactions
• Any other project or ad-hoc responsibilities which may be assigned by management from time to time

Who are we looking for?

• Numerate, analytical, well organised, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Team player, highly adaptable to a cross-cultural environment and working closely with a multitude of professionals from various nationalities
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this role due to regional coverage
• At least 2-3 years of credit and financial analysis experience, preferably from a reputable financial institution
• A good degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance, CFA, CA or MBA, from a reputable university
• Some security documentation experience would be desirable
• Good working knowledge, understanding of companies listed on the regional stock exchanges and candidates with M4A would be advantageous
