Lockheed Martin is seeking an early career Electrical Engineer within the Special Test Equipment (STE) organization to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program located at Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) located in Kings Bay, GA. Lockheed Martin, Kings Bay, assembles and tests the Trident II D5 Missile which is carried aboard the Ohio Class Submarines and is the major contributor to the United States strategic deterrence. This exciting position will support, maintain, and troubleshoot existing test equipment as well as activate and support all new test equipment located at the Missile Integrated Support Facility (MISF) at SWFLANT. MISF is the primary assembly and test location for the avionics packages used on Trident II D5 Missile.
The candidate will provide engineering services related to the Special Test Equipment (STE) used during the qualification, verification, and acceptance testing of avionics packages. The candidate will be working under the direction of senior engineers to analyze test results, troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose failures, contribute to Failure Review Boards (FRBs), perform project planning, and prepare reports. Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
