About the job UI/UX Associate
Job Description
- Responsible for understanding project brief and converting that into appealing, highly usable interfaces.
- Assist the team in the design, development and implementation of our product components across multiple platforms, identifying closely with associated UI design frameworks/kits and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Product & Engineering Team to define and implement innovative solutions & experience improvements .
- Summarize relevant research insights, complete these with data analytics, and collaborate with teams to make actionable design decisions.
- Develop an understanding of the end-users of web applications / digital products through secondary and primary research.
- Generate user personas and user scenarios.
- Help to create UX/UI wireframes, mock ups and final designs across all desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
- Maintain UI design kits and visual assets library across platforms and brands, paying close attention to detail and ensuring consistency.
- Revise and update designs and documentation through user testing and customer feedback.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated portfolio showing your design knowledge for both web and mobile platforms.
- Relevant experience in UI/UX and Design roles in the past would be appreciated.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with a requirement for strong academic results and active participation in curricular activities. Preferred disciplines include (but are not limited to) graphic design, software engineering, and front-end design or UI/UX (professional certifications would have priority).
- You possess exceptional visual, user interface, and interaction design skills.
- Knowledgeable in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, and well-versed in usability principles and techniques.
- Curious, multidisciplinary and eager to learn.
- Up to date knowledge in information architecture, user testing, and creating highly detailed design specifications.
- You're proficient in visual design/wire-framing tools like Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Miro. Photoshop/Illustrator will be an advantage.
- Possess strong communications skills and ability to translate features into functional applications.
- You're a team player and able to develop and present design ideas in a team environment.
- Able to work independently without much supervision and possess strong ownership of assigned tasks.
