About the job Production Foreman
Aethon Energy Operating LLCs (Aethon) Production Foreman provides hands on leadership and supervision to an integrated upstream and midstream operations team within the East Texas geographic region. This role reports to the District Superintendent and the direct reports may include up to 12 multi skilled operators and on occasion contract lease operators.
DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide safety leadership to the field operations team and drive safety and environmental initiatives at the field level to achieve safety targets for assigned areas
- Meet production, plant run time performance, and operating cost targets for assigned areas
- Coordinate activities performed by Dallas based functional support teams that provide support to the operating area, including OCC, Engineering and Construction, Production Engineering, and HSE&SR
- Ensure that all plants, pipelines, compressor stations, and wells are operated and maintained per Aethon s Standard Operating Procedures, and within local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Act as a liaison and representative of Aethon within the local community, specifically with local first responders
- Act as a liaison and representative of Aethon with local regulatory representatives and landowners
- Manage multimillion-dollar operating budget
Requirements
Education & Work Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required and Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
- 10+ years of experience in upstream/midstream natural gas operations, with five years in a lead or senior operator role
- 5+ years of experience in a Production, Facilities, or Completions engineering position in the upstream/midstream natural gas industry

- Strong communication & interpersonal skills ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced and dynamic environment with management, field personnel, and engineering team
- Effective time management - planning, scheduling, and prioritizing multiple resource activities.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Self-starter who can pro-actively manage companys production and cost targets with practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving as a hands-on manager
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
- Understanding of oil & gas production processes, facility operations, construction methods and mechanical principles
- Understanding and application of safety requirements and ensuring all on-site personnel abide by same requirements
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and have a valid driver's license
- Successful candidate will be able to meet company standard background check specific to individual role prior to employment and will be subject to Company Drug & Alcohol Program and DOT requirements
- Must be able to meet company insurability requirements at all times and hold a valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle
- Ability to perform indoor/outdoor activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds
- May require bending, reaching, working at heights and around moving machinery
- Frequently exposed to changes in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to wear respirator protection and PPE, as required
