Job Description
Background:
Culinary Arts Group, which currently owns and operates 3 exciting dining concepts, Revolver, Barood, and Michelin-starred Hamamoto is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to join our fast-expanding Group as Accountant. The incumbent will be part of the pioneer headquarter team in a highly visible and exciting role.
Job Purpose:
To manage day to day operations of the Finance department and its associated functions. Primary responsibilities include assisting in business process to ensure smooth operation of the Financial aspect of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports and non-financial information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Company's requirements
- Regular reviews and provide business support to Management including the analysis of financial information for recommendations for future improvement
- Financial forecasting, planning and analysis process, identify and resolve potential financial risk area in timely manner
- Preparation of Yearly Budget which will involve reviewing of future business plans to develop the budget
- Implement and ensure appropriate financial and internal controls in compliance with Company Policies and procedures
- Work with internal and external auditors and tax agent on statutory audit and tax matters
- Preparation of Group Financial Statements in accordance with SFRS
- Preparation of intercompany agreements
- Working knowledge of FRS 116
- Working knowledge of Singapore corporate income taxation
- Preparation and submission of quarterly GST reports
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Schedules and Bank Reconciliations
- Preparation of Weekly Cash Flow Forecast for cash flow planning
- Manage Fixed Asset Register
- Develop SOPs & drive/monitor its implementation.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent, CPA/CMA will be an advantage.
- Motivated, independent individuals with initiative with a can-do attitude
- At least 4 years of overall combined Accounting experience
- F&B industry experience is preferred
- Proficient in accounting software to manage full books
- Proficient in payroll soft-ware/s and employee time-management/roster systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
