About the job Facilities Manager
Some of the responsibilities are as below:
Responsible for managing/oversee the facilities teams with their day-to-day management of property projects, health and safety matters and building maintenance.
Duties;
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Attends client meetings.
- Coordinates oversee and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work.
- Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
- Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.
- Responsible for HVAC, gen-set and UPS maintenance.
- Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labour for projects.
- Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on the work order and billing procedures.
- Managing landlord relationships.
- Managing service contracts
- Daily user for work order system, Corrigo, email, and training.
- Conducting regular facility audits for safety and compliance.
- Controlling all maintenance and facilities spend in line with budgeted levels.
- Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
