Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for countries as assigned
  • Liaise and work closely with payroll vendors and country coordinators to ensure timely salary payment to employees
  • Monitor delivery of payroll vendor through agreed SLAs
  • Review and check monthly payroll processed by vendor to ensure accuracy against agreed processes and standards
  • Accountable to ensure accuracy of all employee data that is provided by payroll vendor
  • Submit payroll supporting documents to Finance Department in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare the monthly and annual tax returns of employees and liaises with tax authority on the submissions
  • Coordinate year-end tax matters with payroll vendors
  • Assist in annual budgeting exercise, merit increment and bonus processing
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee data to management and relevant government authorities
  • Participate and prepare for annual insurance renewals
  • Follow up on work injury reporting and claim submissions
  • Prepare and participate in external and internal audits on HR/payroll matters
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Candidates with regional experience is advantageous
  • Proficient in HR software and Excel will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of all regulatory aspects related to employment law as specified by MOM
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different employee groups
