Job Responsibility
Job Purpose
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Pastry Chef on delegate, responsible for preparing baked goods, pastries and cakes.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Interacts, cooperates with other members of the outlet and kitchen as appropriate.
- Prepares section mice-en-place daily.
- Assists chef in ensuring that production level of food required is consistent with needs of outlet.
- Prepares all kinds of pies, cakes, cookies, desserts according to recipes for all the coffee bean & tea leaf outlet.
- Listen to instructions of superior with regard to the preparation of bake goods, pastries and cakes.
- Regulates thermostat control of ovens and times all food stuffs being baked
- To ensuring that all equipment is correctly handled and maintains.
- Participates in ensuring that his section is kept clean and orderly fashion all the time.
- Ensures that all baked goods, pastries and cakes are dispatched to outlet in according with established standards of presentation.
- Assists superior in the performance of his duties.
- Complies in hygiene and sanitation standards, delegating staff or cleaning.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Other duties and responsibilities which might be assigned from time to time by your superior.
Job Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level in any field.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably experience in a mass production Central Kitchen
- Willing to work long hours and with a positive mind
