What Youll Do
- Strategise website structure improvements for optimal keyword targeting and internal linking
- Formulate a sound crawling and indexing strategy to maximise exposure of high-value pages, while minimising index bloat and crawling inefficiencies
- Pinpoint rendering issues caused by non-SEO friendly web technologies and outline exact requirements to developers on how to fix them
- Find code optimisation opportunities, including meta, rel, and schema markups
- Analyse website errors (4xx, 3xx, duplication, hreflang, etc.) and find scalable fixes
- Find content improvement opportunities across the site
- Create execution plans to optimise website speed and core web vitals
- Optimise international SEO strategy and language targeting across priority markets
- Conduct competitor and keyword gap analysis to find opportunities to widen organic demand capture for key verticals
- Monitor server logs to detect crawling anomalies and budget wastage, and derive a strategy to steer bots to important pages
- Monitor and fix issues highlighted via Google Search Console
- Find opportunities to optimise conversion rates for different landing page types
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on implementation of SEO initiatives and performance monitoring
- Explore SEO automation opportunities to create efficient workflows
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
What Youll Need
- Bachelors degree in marketing, technology or quantitative field.
- 8+ years of direct SEO experience, experience in a leadership role is a plus.
- Deep understanding of how search engines work
- In-depth knowledge of technical SEO and everything it entails
- Heavy experience in various SEO tools, particularly crawling (OnCrawl, Screaming Frog) and competitive analysis tools (Ahrefs, SEMRush)
- Experience in SEO reporting - monthly and/or weekly dashboards.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Good at communication, stakeholder management, and with a trial-and-learn mindset.
- Data-driven approach in solving SEO issues.
- Strong project management skills.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor - think of the big picture and when necessary have a roll-up-your sleeves approach.
- Experience in travel (OTA) or eCommerce industry is a big plus.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is preferable, but not required
