Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide software application support to end users, including training, documentation, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Consult with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
  • Analyze and understand the company's process flow and suggest improvements to software application functionality to better fit business processes.
  • Documenting user and/or business process requirements.
  • Managing and making sure that various software servers and/or services are up and running.
  • Establishing the root cause(s) of application errors and/or bugs, and escalating serious issues to the software development team.
  • Monitoring and identifying areas of software performance metrics that can be improved.
  • Keeping records of application software releases, configurations, and scheduling software releases and/or updates.
  • Handle system data alteration requests by users or other business units.

Requirements:

  • A degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experienced in SQL query for updating data is a plus.
  • Able to prepare detailed software manuals, training materials, and business processes.
  • General knowledge in software system security, including desktop, mobile, and web apps.
  • General knowledge in managing Linux server, and web hosting engines (Apache, Nginx, etc) is preferable.
  • General knowledge in some of the back-end and front-end programming languages, and frameworks is preferable.
  • Basic knowledge in network configurations, DNS, domain names, etc
  • Meticulous in documenting, organizing, storing, and keeping sensitive information safe.
  • Great attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills.
