Job Description

The Recruitment Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating, developing and implementing communication processes that directly support the strategic enrollment initiatives of Cameron University.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally and efficiently execute Cameron University's commitment to student success
  • Constituent Relationship Marketing
    • Administer the University's CRM Solution; including, but not limited to, set-up, maintenance, user management, system auditing and reporting, and the development of communication workflows. Responsibility extends to third party component integration (email and SMS).
    • Work with the ITS Department on updates and enhancements to the CRM.
    • Train internal stakeholders on CRM functionality.
    • Assist Admissions and ITS staff members with data integration between the CRM and ERP systems.
    • Assist with setting up the CRM to support the registration of on-campus recruitment events.
    • Coordinate with academic schools, departments and programs to support programmatic focused recruitment and retention communications within the CRM.
    • Coordinate with the Office of Athletic Administration to develop and implement communication plans in the CRM.
    • Research best practices for managing University CRMs and stay abreast of system enhancements that support effective communication plans.
  • Outreach
    • Manage the operations of the Tele-Counseling Center including training student staff, setting strategic targets and objectives, planning campaigns, data tracking and analysis, and ensuring service excellence.
    • Plan, design and implement direct mail marketing campaigns.
    • Manage the University's student recruitment digital marketing strategy via coordination with web and the Office of Admissions social media initiatives.
    • Research marketing opportunities with media vendors to promote Cameron University Recruitment efforts and make media buy recommendations to the Director of Admissions.
    • Develop concepts for promotional graphics in consultation and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across campus.
  • Reporting
    • Use the University's report writing software to develop and update regular, periodic and special reports that inform the operational decisions of EMSS departments.
    • Assist with the construction of data models, reports, and dashboards.
    • Supervise student assistants.
    • Serve on University committees as assigned.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university
  • Demonstrate time-management skills: ability to prioritize and multitask; work independently and proactively; and meet multiple, concurrent deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, strong interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving skills, and demonstrate skills in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, faculty, students, and the public
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Familiarity with work in an electronic environment to include web and social marketing in addition to virtual meetings.
  • Ability to lift weight (10-20 lbs.) on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time

Preferred Qualificaitons

Baccalaureate degree in Communications, Marketing, Information Systems or related field. Higher Education experience in an enrollment or student service office. Prior experience working with Ellucian Recruit or other CRM application. Bilingual in Spanish.

Salary Range

$33,000.
