About the job Director, Asset Management
The Director, Asset Management is a key leadership role within the firm. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver good long-term risk adjusted returns, through appropriate risk management and asset allocation. The role reports to the CEO for related decisions, delivery and results.
What You Will Do
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of the investment process
- Adapt and develop the existing investment process
- Integrate with clients decision-making to set and execute their investment policies
- Cooperate with the Roundtable and clients nominees to set and implement investment decisions
- Generate ideas including forecasting and justifying expected returns for asset classes
- Generate specific investment ideas and execute investment decisions
- Contribute to the development, adaption and application of policies and procedures
- Propagate our purpose, mission, vision and values of the company
- Cooperate with Head of Client Origination to communicate the house view
- Develop and mentor more junior analytical staff

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in investment strategy and/or multi-asset fund management.
- Strong client-facing asset management experience.
- Proven experience reviewing and proposing investment policies.
- Prior experience of macroeconomic and securities research and analysis.
- Proven experience of applying a rigorous investment process.
- Experience of mentoring / managing direct reports or building a team.
- Permanent Resident or Singaporean Citizen
- Excellent communication skills (fluent speaker and writer in English).
- Specialist knowledge of listed and unlisted equity and fixed income securities.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to imbue a sense of trust, duty, and competence to clients.
- Good presentation & media skills for communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sound judgment regarding asset allocation and investment processes.
- Results driven with an engaging, energetic, and focused approach to work.
- Shows enthusiasm for positively influencing the culture and direction of the firm and growing the firm to its full potential.
- Must have strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of customary software used in financial services
- A relevant professional level qualification such as CFA or FRM, Msc Finance, MBA
Desired
- Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia language skills (spoken and written)
- Previously or currently licensed by the MAS & assessed as Fit & Proper
- Private equity / corporate finance / restructuring experience would be helpful
- Flexible and open to assisting Nimoi Holdings group companies
