Key responsibilities of an Agency Worker:
- To provide a range of assistance and support in response to the day to day personal, physical and emotional needs of service users as described in care plans
Tasks:
- To support people in promoting, developing, and maintaining independence.
- Support with eating and drinking following individual care plans, place mats.
- Car park duties
Personal Care Support team
2. To provide high quality support and personal care with full regard to privacy, dignity and particular needs and relate to people in a manner which is sensitive to age, disability, sexuality, gender and cultural origin
Tasks:
- Use equipment
- Fit slings
- Assist with walking
- Seated to stand
- Stand to seated
- Support with clothing
- Support with inco wear
Sessions
3. To participate and assist in the delivery of a wide range of day-to-day activities and support service users in accordance with service plans.
Tasks:
To enable individuals to participate in the session they are supporting in.
Key responsibilities of a Care Worker
- To provided cover and assistance in respect of staff absence and other requirements as appropriate

- To respond appropriately to crisis and emergency situations and report any incidents arising as soon as possible.
Ability to assist in an emergency. Report incidents as they happen not later.
- To assist and contribute to the ongoing monitoring/assessment of individual service user needs, review of activities undertaken, and service provided.
Ensure that relevant information about individuals is passed onto the relevant key workers, duty Hub Facilitator and duty Hub Leader.
- To positively support individuals within a risk management framework and to advise supervisors/managers of any risks or unresolved difficulties
Have good understanding of risk to self and other within the care setting. Comply with identified reporting procedures.
- To carry out all duties and responsibilities with a can do attitude
