About the job Field Service Engineer - Detroit
Field Service Engineer Service Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the following devices:
- CT, MRI, PET,SPECT
- Experience in the medical imaging field preferred.
- Performs scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment
- Repairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systems
- Informs managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concerns
- Performs periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptime
- Works with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A.S. Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment- MR, CT, PET or SPECT
- Experience working in medical facilities in a professional manner
- Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status
US Citizen / Green Card holder
Must-Haves
Must have Recent Field Service Engineer experience Minimum 3+ years of experience
Must have Recent experience in the required modality - MR & CT
Must be Factory or formally trained by PHILIPS, GE, or SIEMENS OR Third party Training from RSTI or ALL PARTS
Must provide trained certificate from any of the OEM (Philips/GE/Siemens)
