About the job Speech Language Pathologist
Job Description/Role Responsibilities:
Provide high quality direct speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students
Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results and write reports to determine strengths and concerns in the areas of motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia
Develop treatment plans that are strength based as well as child and family centered
Ensure that IEP, ETR and progress monitoring procedures adhere to the company, state and federal guidelines
Collect ongoing daily data and adapt treatment accordingly based on trends in student performance
Attend IEP and MFE meetings and provide necessary documentation for team to review in a timely manner
Collaborate with staff and all other members of a students educational team
Guide staff, primary care providers and all other educational team members in the implementation of facilitating classroom strategies to ensure skill generalization and in how to identify students who may require a referral for a speech and language evaluation
Develop, follow and communicate to building leaders and department supervisors, a daily schedule
Qualifications:
Must (Experience, Licenses/Certifications, Endorsements, Skills):
*Must have their CCCs (No CFs)
*Florida SLP License
*Comfortable working with diverse workforce
Plus:
*Someone who is credentialed with other insurance companies
*Pediatric Experience (Special Needs Autism)
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
-Masters in Speech Language Pathology
-Florida SLP License
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status
US CITIZEN
