Responsibilities
Project management for railway signaling systems for overseas markets
- Collaborate with overseas team members and suppliers to manage the entire project process from planning to implementation and completion.
- Set up the structure, assign roles, request to create WBS and project risk
- Conduct risk analysis, discuss and create avoidance measures with the project team, and share them
- Share risk analysis and avoidance measures with the steering committee and reflect them in the project management plan
- Collect information necessary to understand the project progress, create reports, and share with all project stakeholders
- Conduct risk analysis based on progress, share with the project team as appropriate, implement risk avoidance measures, and share with the steering committee
- Organize and control communication to ensure all these activities are carried out smoothly and quickly.
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status*
Japanese Native only
Must Have
<3 to 5 years of experience in the following areas>
Experience in control system design using TCMS or PLC/SCADA
Experience in requirement analysis and definition of TCMS or PLC/SCADA systems
Experience in creating system test specifications and carrying out tests for TCMS or PLC/SCADA systems
Experience creating project plans, WBS, etc. for development projects lasting approximately one year
Experience in creating test results reports for TCMS or PLC/SCADA systems
<Knowledge of the following>
Knowledge of railway vehicle control systems or any other industrial field where PLC/SCADA systems are used
Knowledge of Ethernet (IP network) configuration and VLAN network
V-model development knowledge
Configuration Management Knowledge
Traceability knowledge
<Language Skill>
Japanese language ability - Native level (reading, writing and speaking Japanese documents)
English proficiency Business level (ability to communicate in English with local team, read, write and speak documents)
