EGP 33,066.80 – EGP 44,089.07 per month (depending on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer & Solutions Architect with strong Laravel PHP expertise to lead the design, development, and security of scalable web applications and databases.

The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience, a strong understanding of web security, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP)
• Architect scalable database structures and backend systems
• Implement and maintain website and application security best practices
• Work across the full stack (backend, frontend, APIs, and databases)
• Review code, optimise performance, and ensure maintainability
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical architecture and roadmaps
• Ensure systems meet reliability, security, and performance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong professional experience with Laravel (PHP)
• Solid knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases
• Experience designing and maintaining secure web applications
• Full-stack development experience (backend + frontend)
• Understanding of API development and integration
• Knowledge of authentication, authorisation, and data protection
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Ability to work independently and make architectural decisions

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React, or similar)
• DevOps or deployment experience
• Experience with cloud hosting environments
• Familiarity with system scalability and performance optimisation
• Previous experience in a Solutions Architect or lead role
