About the job Field Services Technician

We are seeking Field Service Technicians with experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), electrical and low-voltage control systems, or building automation and lighting controls. This is a consulting field role involving the programming, configuration, and validation of metering and automation systems installed by electricians. Technicians will connect computers to systems, verify installation quality, and program devices based on provided specifications.

This is a travel-intensive position (approximately 6570% travel) covering Denver, CO to the East Coast. Technicians typically spend 12 days per job site, then travel to the next location, with weekends at home (optional weekend work is available). The role averages about 15 active workdays per month at different sites. The great part of this role is that while you are traveling, you are being paid, that is both to and from the worksite. Once you leave your house to go to the airport, you are being paid, and you will be paid for your travel time going back home.

All travel expenses are covered including flights, hotels, meals, rental cars, and mileage reimbursement.

Job Summary

Join the ACCO team to install, troubleshoot, supervise and maintain low voltage control systems. Must have expertise in wiring, system diagnostics, and integration. Must Have

knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation Systems (BAS)

Hands-on experience with electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, or control systems

Ability to program, configure, and troubleshoot automation or metering systems

Familiarity with lighting control systems and related automation hardware/software

Excellent field troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and coordination abilities to interface with electricians,
