Architectural Designer

Responsibilities:

4Creeks is looking for an Architectural Designer to help support our architecture firm in the Central Valley of California. Projects will include residential, commercial, office, industrial, and civic projects from the ground up and as adaptive re-uses or retrofits. They will also perform routine aspects of architectural assignments including drafting, preparing high-quality construction documents, meeting with clients and consultants, and assembling drawings and project documents for submittal.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Working towards an Architecture License
  2. 3-5+ years of experience in a professional architecture environment performing tasks from design through construction, including preparation of construction documents
  3. Demonstrated use of AutoCAD or Revit to effectively produce construction documents
  4. Understanding of the basic construction systems of walls, roofs, doors and windows
  5. Knowledge of building code concepts and applying to project design
  6. Effective manager of his/her own time, setting goals, prioritizing, and completing tasks on time
  7. Willing to work with clients and consultants on a one-on-one basis to develop projects
  8. Creative and flexible
  9. Desire to build a team or grow professionally
  10. Self-motivated and committed to growing him/herself and the firm
  11. Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Compensation

Pay range will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for this position is $28-$45 hourly.
