Job Location: Visalia

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 9 hours / Friday: 4 hours

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:

A Technical Report Writer plays a crucial role in supporting our Water Consulting department and other departments in translating technical information into an understandable format for its intended audience. This position is a critical role for enhancing our team's technical documentation to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in disseminating technical data and information into a high-quality report, presentation, or material with technical accuracy.

Produce high-quality documentation/deliverables that meet applicable standards and are appropriate for its intended audience

Disseminate technical information/documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Have technical accuracy in writing user documentation

Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it

Prepares responses to correspondence, reports, surveys, questionnaires, and other requests for information.

Reviews, analyzes, and summarizes documents.

Maintains records and files of work and revisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field

2-5 years of experience in technical report writing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft suite tools.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.

Compensation

Hourly rate will be determined by candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. We consider our interns as temporary employees, therefore not eligible for our Benefits package. The expected pay range for this position is $28/hr to $38/hr.
