Water Resource Specialist

Location - Visalia, CA

Work Schedule - Monday-Thursday-9 Hours, Friday-4 Hours

Responsibilities

4Creeks is seeking a GIS Manager/Water Program Manager to work under the direction of a Department Manager in a fast-paced environment with a driven and growing team. Responsibilities for this position include:

- Responsible for handling the data provided by the Water Department along with technical research to create maps and graphic reports.

- Project manages the various deliverables for the Water Department and Collaborates with the GIS team to provide high-quality deliverables for internal and external clients.

- Providing oversight and directing staff to fulfill the requirements of the programs being managed, including developing and managing budgets, sub-consultants, schedules, and deliverables

- Being the point of contact for communications with agency Boards

- Representing the agency Board in stakeholder settings

- Project managing, planning, and tracking for water clients and programs

Minimum Qualifications

1. The position requires a B.S. in GIS, Information Systems, Geography, Planning, or a related field from an accredited institution

2. Experience with GIS tools and programming languages

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a GIS role

4. ArcGIS experience is required

5. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is required

Compensation

The salary will be determined by the candidate's skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for these positions is $75,000-$90,000 annually; however, it is dependent on years and level of experience.
