Job Title: Head of Selling Agent (VP/SVP Level) - Mutual Funds
Location: Bangkok
Salary: Up to $300,000 ( Negotiable )
Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Selling Agent to lead our sales efforts within the Mutual Funds sector at the VP/SVP level. This role demands a strategic visionary with a strong track record in selling strategy, business development, and upselling. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating strategies, driving business growth measured by Assets Under Management (AUM), and ensuring effective collaboration with various departments. This role requires a strong background in investment management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding
of the mutual funds market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies for the mutual funds distribution division. tailored to the funds industry to achieve business objectives and increase market share.
- Drive business growth by increasing AUM through effective sales strategies and market penetration.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Business Development:
- Lead initiatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the funds sector.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors, fund managers, and financial partners.
- Oversee the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Collaboration with Retail Department:
- Work closely with the Retail Department to ensure that investment consultants are well-equipped to offer mutual fund products effectively.
- Provide training and support to investment consultants to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Collaboration with Digital Business Development Department:
- Partner with the Digital Business Development Department to ensure that mutual fund products are effectively offered on the company's digital platform.
- Drive digital initiatives and strategies to enhance online mutual fund sales
Investment Consultant Support:
- Provide recommendations and guidelines for investment consultants on how to recommend different types of mutual funds to various investor profiles.
- Develop and distribute educational materials and tools to support investment consultants.
Co-Marketing and Promotional Activities
- Collaborate with mutual fund asset managers to develop co-marketing and promotional activities.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to boost mutual fund sales and brand visibility
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team dedicated to achieving targets and delivering exceptional results.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and reports on fund performance. - Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the mutual funds distribution division to track sales performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Regularly review and analyze sales performance against targets.
- Implement corrective actions to address underperformance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market dynamics, and financial performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, business development ot financial services industry with a focus on mutual funds.
- Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth in the mutual funds sector.
- Strong understanding of the mutual funds industry, investment products, and client relationship management.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to make strategic decisions based on market insights and data analysis.
