Job Description: HR Manager 80K-100K plus 17K allowance
Location: Amata City Chonburi,
Department: Human Resources
Position Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the Human Resources department within the automotive parts factory. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent English communication abilities, and experience in managing a diverse team. The HR Manager will manage a team of four subordinates and ensure that HR functions are carried out effectively and in alignment with both local and regional objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business goals of the factory.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related issues and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of 4 subordinates, ensuring their effective performance:
- Payroll Officer: Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Time Attendance and Recruitment Officer: Manage employee attendance systems and lead the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
- General Affairs (GA) Officer: Supervise GA operations, ensuring they are efficient and in compliance with company policies and regional regulations.
- HR Supervisor: Oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations, and coordinating with regional HR teams.
- Lead and manage a team of 4 subordinates, ensuring their effective performance:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain a skilled workforce.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Ensure that compensation and benefits packages are competitive and compliant with local laws.
- Regularly review and update compensation strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
- Promote open communication between employees and management.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Ensure that all employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all HR activities are compliant with Thai labor laws and company policies.
- Liaise with regional HR teams to ensure consistency in HR practices and compliance with global standards.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance evaluation systems.
- Provide coaching and support to managers to ensure effective performance management.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on HR activities, including recruitment, turnover, employee satisfaction, and compliance.
- Use data to drive decisions and improve HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multinational corporation.
- Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture is an advantage.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
