We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced professionals in real estate, hospitality, or events with strong expertise in operational decision-making, commercial analysis, planning, and professional work-product review.

This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to real estate, hospitality, and event operations. Selected experts will assess outputs for factual accuracy, analytical rigour, operational realism, presentation quality, and overall professional credibility within their area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate & Property Review

  • Evaluate work products involving property operations, real estate analysis, leasing, development, or asset management where relevant
  • Assess commercial assumptions, operational recommendations, and supporting analyses
  • Review property-related plans, reports, and business materials for accuracy and realism
  • Identify unsupported assumptions, missing considerations, and inconsistent conclusions
  • Apply practical judgement grounded in professional real estate experience

Hospitality Operations

  • Review materials involving hotel, lodging, guest-service, or hospitality operations
  • Assess operational plans, service models, commercial assumptions, and performance considerations
  • Evaluate recommendations involving guest experience, staffing, capacity, and operational efficiency
  • Identify unrealistic assumptions or gaps in hospitality planning
  • Apply professional judgement to practical hospitality scenarios

Events Planning & Operations

  • Evaluate event plans, schedules, budgets, logistics, and operational materials
  • Review assumptions involving venues, attendance, staffing, suppliers, timelines, and execution
  • Assess whether plans are complete, realistic, and operationally feasible
  • Identify missing dependencies, logistical risks, and inconsistencies
  • Evaluate the overall quality of event-planning and delivery recommendations

Commercial & Operational Analysis

  • Review spreadsheets supporting budgets, forecasts, operating plans, or business decisions
  • Assess assumptions, calculations, and supporting data for consistency
  • Identify analytical gaps or discrepancies between underlying data and reported conclusions
  • Evaluate whether recommendations appropriately reflect commercial and operational constraints
  • Review trade-offs involving cost, service quality, capacity, timing, and execution

Documents & Presentation Review

  • Evaluate reports, spreadsheets, plans, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness
  • Review executive and stakeholder presentations for clarity, logical flow, and practical usefulness
  • Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues
  • Assess whether charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying information
  • Ensure recommendations are clearly connected to supporting evidence and operational realities

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

  • Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria
  • Identify factual, analytical, operational, and presentation errors
  • Distinguish substantive professional issues from minor editorial concerns
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses
  • Apply evaluation standards consistently across different work products

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in real estate, hospitality, events, property management, hotel operations, event planning, or a closely related field
  • Strong practical understanding of professional workflows within your area of expertise
  • Experience reviewing operational plans, commercial analyses, budgets, reports, or stakeholder materials
  • Ability to identify unrealistic assumptions, missing dependencies, and weak professional reasoning
  • Strong commercial and operational judgement
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback
  • Strong attention to analytical, operational, and presentation detail
  • Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous

Engagement Details

  • Part-time independent contractor engagement

  • Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
  • Compensation: $70–$110/hour
  • Work includes evaluation of professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials within real estate, hospitality, or events
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
  • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
