Remote | Healthcare Attorney (BigLaw Firms) — $140–$400/hour

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Healthcare Attorneys with substantial BigLaw or top-tier healthcare-law experience and strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulation, compliance, policy analysis, contract drafting, and legal document review to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project.

Selected professionals will analyse complex healthcare laws and regulations, review legal documents, evaluate compliance scenarios, draft and refine contractual language, and provide nuanced legal interpretations supporting high-quality AI training data. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Regulation & Compliance

• Analyse U.S. healthcare statutes, regulations, guidance, and complex compliance scenarios
• Apply expertise across HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and related requirements
• Identify applicable exceptions, obligations, and potential legal risks
• Evaluate operational and contractual arrangements for regulatory exposure
• Distinguish established requirements from areas of interpretive uncertainty

Legal Review, Drafting & Policy Analysis

• Review and annotate healthcare-related legal and compliance documents
• Draft and refine contractual provisions addressing regulatory requirements
• Identify ambiguous, inaccurate, or insufficient legal language
• Conduct legal and policy research and synthesise complex authorities into clear conclusions
• Recommend revisions improving legal precision and compliance

AI Evaluation & Legal Quality Review

• Review AI-generated healthcare-law content for accuracy and completeness
• Identify missed risks, weak reasoning, or incorrect regulatory conclusions
• Provide structured expert commentary and nuanced legal interpretations
• Apply consistent legal-quality standards across evaluation tasks
• Collaborate with project stakeholders on complex healthcare-law questions

Ideal Profile

• JD degree
• Active U.S. bar admission
• Substantial healthcare-law experience at a major U.S. law firm or top healthcare-focused firm
• Strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulatory compliance
• Deep familiarity with HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute
• Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing complex healthcare legal documents
• Experience advising on healthcare compliance matters
• Strong legal research, policy-analysis, and contract-drafting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical judgement
• Ability to explain sophisticated healthcare-law concepts clearly
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details

• Compensation: $140–$400/hour
• Work will involve healthcare regulatory analysis, legal-document review and annotation, compliance evaluation, contract drafting, policy analysis, and AI-output assessment
• Assignments may involve HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, healthcare contracts, regulatory policies, and complex compliance scenarios
• Project scope, workload, legal topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
• Work must be completed without using confidential or privileged information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, healthcare organisation, institution, or other third party
