About the job Remote | Bankruptcy Attorney — $90–$150/hour
We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Bankruptcy Attorneys with strong expertise in U.S. bankruptcy law, legal-document analysis, motions, pleadings, court filings, and complex legal reasoning to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project.
Selected professionals will review bankruptcy-law materials, draft realistic litigation documents, analyse hypothetical matters, and evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and consistency with current U.S. bankruptcy law. No prior experience in AI is required.
Key Responsibilities
Bankruptcy Analysis & Legal Drafting
- Analyse complex bankruptcy issues, factual scenarios, and procedural considerations
- Apply current U.S. bankruptcy law to realistic legal problems
- Draft and review motions, pleadings, court filings, and related litigation materials
- Evaluate competing legal arguments and strategic approaches
- Produce clear, well-supported legal reasoning and professional written analysis
Document Review & Case Evaluation
- Review and annotate bankruptcy-related legal documents and case materials
- Identify inaccuracies, ambiguities, missed issues, or incomplete analysis
- Analyse hypothetical matters involving statutory, procedural, and strategic questions
- Conduct legal research and incorporate relevant developments in bankruptcy law
- Develop realistic scenarios and reference materials for evaluation tasks
AI Evaluation & Quality Review
- Review AI-generated bankruptcy-law content for accuracy and completeness
- Assess alignment with current U.S. bankruptcy law and professional drafting standards
- Identify unsupported conclusions, weak reasoning, or procedural errors
- Provide clear, actionable feedback supporting model improvement
- Apply consistent legal-quality standards across repeated evaluation tasks
Ideal Profile
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active licence to practise law in the United States
- 3–15 years of recent, hands-on bankruptcy-law experience
- Direct experience handling bankruptcy matters independently
- Experience with bankruptcy filings, court appearances, and advisory work
- Strong bankruptcy-law research, analysis, and drafting skills
- Demonstrated experience preparing motions, pleadings, and court filings
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and professional judgement
- Judicial clerkship experience, particularly with a bankruptcy or federal judge, is preferred
- Legal teaching, instructional-content, law-review, or journal experience is advantageous
- No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

- Independent contractor engagement
- Fully remote
- Compensation: $90–$150/hour
- Work will involve bankruptcy-law analysis, legal-document review, motions, pleadings, court filings, hypothetical case evaluation, legal writing, and AI-output assessment
- Assignments may involve bankruptcy proceedings, court documents, litigation materials, legal hypotheticals, model outputs, and structured evaluation tasks
- Project scope, workload, bankruptcy topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
- Work must be completed without using confidential or privileged information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party
