Remote | Credentialed Finance Reasoning Review Consultant — $80–$150/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for United States-based credentialed finance professionals experienced in financial analysis, tax, financial planning, investment analysis, advisory work, quantitative verification, authoritative source review, and structured finance content evaluation.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on AI-assisted financial reasoning evaluation, finance output review, rules verification, quantitative checking, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate finance-related outputs, verify figures and rules against authoritative sources, identify reasoning gaps, and provide structured feedback based on detailed project criteria.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Finance Reasoning & Output Review

• Review AI-generated outputs across a range of finance topics, including tax, financial planning, investment analysis, corporate finance, advisory scenarios, and quantitative reasoning
• Evaluate whether financial conclusions are accurate, clearly explained, and professionally useful
• Identify unsupported claims, incomplete analysis, weak assumptions, unclear explanations, or incorrect financial reasoning
• Assess whether finance responses reflect appropriate terminology, practical judgment, and sound analytical structure

Figure, Rule & Source Verification

• Verify stated figures, calculations, assumptions, and rules against authoritative sources where applicable
• Perform basic quantitative checks and independently recompute stated figures when needed
• Review rules in familiar or unfamiliar financial systems using official sources and structured verification methods
• Flag calculation errors, outdated rules, missing caveats, unsupported figures, or weak source grounding

Structured Feedback & Quality Control

• Provide clear written feedback on financial reasoning quality, quantitative accuracy, rule interpretation, and source support
• Apply consistent professional judgment across multiple finance review assignments
• Follow detailed task instructions, evaluation rubrics, and project-specific quality standards accurately
• Collaborate through structured remote workflows designed to assess and improve financial reasoning outputs

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

• 2+ years of substantive professional experience in finance, tax, financial planning, investment analysis, advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or related finance roles
• Recognized finance credential such as CPA, EA, CFP, CFA, or similar qualification in good standing where applicable
• Strong ability to verify figures, calculations, and rules against authoritative sources
• Comfort independently recomputing stated figures and checking quantitative claims
• Strong judgment when reviewing finance-related content across both familiar and unfamiliar areas
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain financial reasoning clearly
• High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors, unsupported assumptions, or incomplete analysis
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, project-based environment

Educational Background

• Professional credential such as CPA, EA, CFP, CFA, or comparable finance-related qualification is highly relevant
• Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, business, taxation, mathematics, statistics, data analysis, or a related field may support project fit
• Professional experience in tax, financial planning, financial analysis, investment advisory, corporate finance, IB, PE, asset management, or related advisory environments may be especially valuable
• Experience involving authoritative source review, financial modeling, tax research, investment analysis, planning recommendations, or quantitative validation is highly relevant

Nice to Have

• Experience reviewing AI-generated financial content, tax outputs, investment reasoning, planning scenarios, or finance-related research
• Comfort checking rules in unfamiliar systems using official sources and documented guidance
• Experience with financial models, planning tools, tax calculations, investment memos, valuation work, or advisory deliverables
• Strong ability to identify missing assumptions, calculation issues, rule misinterpretations, or misleading financial conclusions
• Experience with quality review, technical editing, training, financial education, compliance review, or rubric-based evaluation
• Ability to produce concise, well-supported written feedback under project guidelines
