About the job Remote | Corporate Attorney — $90–$150/hour
We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced U.S.-based Corporate Attorneys with strong expertise in corporate law, commercial agreements, M&A, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, legal risk management, and transactional analysis to contribute to an advanced AI training and legal-content evaluation project.
Selected attorneys will review corporate and commercial documents, evaluate AI-generated legal content, refine contractual language, identify transactional risks, and translate complex U.S. legal concepts into clear, practical analysis. No prior experience in AI is required.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate, Transactional & Contract Analysis
- Analyse corporate and commercial legal matters, including M&A transactions
- Review contracts, policies, transaction documents, and related business materials
- Draft and refine contractual language for clarity, consistency, and enforceability
- Identify material obligations, ambiguous provisions, and transactional risks
- Assess risk allocation and recommend practical drafting or negotiation improvements
Compliance, Risk & Legal Analysis
- Evaluate matters against applicable U.S. corporate, commercial, and regulatory requirements
- Identify compliance concerns and distinguish substantive legal issues from drafting preferences
- Assess legal exposure arising from contracts, transactions, or business arrangements
- Research and synthesise complex legal issues where required
- Translate legal concepts into clear, practical explanations for varied audiences
AI Evaluation & Legal Content Development
- Review AI-generated legal content for accuracy, reasoning, and drafting quality
- Identify unsupported conclusions, legal errors, or weak contractual analysis
- Contribute realistic corporate-law scenarios, document-review tasks, and training examples
- Provide structured feedback supporting model improvement
- Apply real-world legal judgement without using confidential client material
Ideal Profile
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law
- Strong experience with commercial agreements, M&A, contract drafting, and legal risk analysis
- Familiarity with U.S. regulatory and commercial compliance requirements
- Experience as outside counsel, in-house counsel, or legal consultant to business clients
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
- Ability to assess contract enforceability and transactional risk
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously
- No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
Engagement Details
- Independent contractor engagement
- Remote — United States only
- Displayed compensation range: $90–$150/hour
- Actual compensation structure is task-based, with payment made per completed task that meets project specifications
- Average handling time (AHT): approximately 3.5 hours per task
- Effective hourly earnings will depend on the number of completed tasks successfully reviewed and signed off
- Work will involve corporate law, commercial agreements, M&A, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, legal risk analysis, and AI-generated legal-content evaluation
- Assignments may involve contracts, policies, transaction documents, legal scenarios, and structured content review
- Project scope, workload, legal topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
- Work must be completed without using confidential, privileged, proprietary, client-identifiable, deal-sensitive, non-public, or otherwise restricted information belonging to any client, law firm, employer, transaction, government entity, or other third party
