Remote | Education & Academic Content Evaluator — $70–$150/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for individuals with academic, teaching, or education backgrounds to review and evaluate professional and educational documents for quality, accuracy, relevance, and clarity.

This role is suited to current or recent graduates, educators, and professionals with experience in academic or educational environments. Selected contributors will review documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and related materials while providing clear, structured feedback against defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Educational Content Review

• Review educational and academic materials for accuracy, completeness, and relevance
• Assess whether information is clearly structured and appropriately communicated
• Identify factual inconsistencies, omissions, or unclear reasoning
• Evaluate materials for usefulness within academic or educational contexts
• Apply practical judgement grounded in education or academic experience

Document Evaluation

• Review professional and academic documents for overall quality
• Assess organisation, clarity, consistency, and completeness
• Identify errors, unsupported conclusions, or missing information
• Evaluate whether documents appropriately address their intended purpose
• Apply structured review criteria consistently

Spreadsheet Review

• Review Excel workbooks and spreadsheet-based materials
• Assess tables, calculations, formatting, and supporting information
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or obvious errors
• Evaluate spreadsheet organisation and usability
• Ensure quantitative information is presented clearly and accurately

Presentation Review

• Review PowerPoint presentations for structure, clarity, and professional quality
• Assess slide organisation, readability, and information hierarchy
• Identify inconsistencies or presentation issues
• Evaluate whether academic or professional information is communicated effectively
• Review presentation materials against defined project requirements

Written Materials

• Review documents created in Microsoft Word
• Assess written content for organisation, accuracy, and completeness
• Identify unclear language, inconsistencies, or missing information
• Evaluate whether documents follow structured guidelines
• Maintain high attention to detail throughout the review process

Education & Academic Perspective

• Apply experience from academic programmes, teaching, education, or related professional settings
• Review materials from the perspective of students, graduates, educators, or academic professionals
• Evaluate whether content is appropriate for its intended audience and purpose
• Adapt to assignments spanning different educational or professional subject areas
• Provide practical feedback based on relevant academic or education experience

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

• Assess assigned work products against defined quality standards
• Identify substantive content, analytical, organisational, and presentation issues
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable written feedback
• Support evaluation decisions with logical reasoning
• Apply evaluation criteria consistently across assignments

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an academic programme, or professional experience in teaching, education, or a related field
• At least 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant domain
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Strong document-analysis and review capabilities
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Comfortable reviewing varied educational, academic, and professional work products
• Able to work independently and provide precise, structured feedback

• Fully remote
• Applicants must be based in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada
• Compensation: $70–$150/hour
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
• Work focuses on educational and academic content review, document evaluation, and structured feedback
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
