About the job Remote | Social Work & Case Management Specialist — $30–$40/hour
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced social work and case management professionals with expertise in clinical practice, care coordination, child and family welfare, behavioural health, and community-based services.
This role supports advanced AI evaluation work focused on realistic social work and human-services scenarios. Selected experts will design complex practice-based tasks, develop reference outputs, and create evaluation rubrics that reflect how experienced social workers and case management professionals approach assessment, care planning, crisis response, ethical decision-making, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Case Assessment & Care Planning
- Develop realistic scenarios involving complex client assessment and case planning
- Apply biopsychosocial, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches to practice scenarios
- Create tasks involving risk assessment, needs identification, goal setting, and service planning
- Evaluate case recommendations for appropriateness, completeness, and professional judgement
- Produce reference case plans and structured assessment documentation
Clinical & Behavioural Health Social Work
- Develop scenarios involving clinical social work, behavioural health, substance use, and mental health services
- Create tasks covering client engagement, psychosocial assessment, treatment coordination, and documentation
- Evaluate proposed interventions within realistic clinical and community contexts
- Assess AI-generated outputs for ethical, practical, and professional quality
- Produce reference clinical documentation and interdisciplinary communications
Child, Family & Community Services
- Create scenarios involving child and family welfare, community-based services, and complex family systems
- Develop tasks covering case coordination, service referrals, family support, and interagency collaboration
- Evaluate decisions involving vulnerable clients and multiple stakeholders
- Apply professional judgement to challenging case-management situations
- Develop reference communications and service-coordination plans
Crisis Intervention & Safeguarding
- Design scenarios involving crisis response, safety assessment, safeguarding, and mandated reporting
- Evaluate appropriate escalation, documentation, and referral decisions
- Apply relevant ethical and professional standards to high-stakes situations
- Identify gaps or weaknesses in proposed crisis-response strategies
- Produce structured reference responses reflecting real-world social work practice
Case Management Systems & Interagency Coordination
- Develop tasks involving EHR, CCWIS, case-record systems, and interagency referral platforms
- Apply familiarity with risk and needs assessment instruments
- Create scenarios involving multidisciplinary and cross-agency coordination
- Evaluate documentation quality, information flow, and continuity of care
- Structure complex case information into clear professional outputs
AI Evaluation & Rubric Development
- Design expert-level evaluation tasks across social work and human-services workflows
- Draft reference outputs demonstrating authentic professional and ethical judgement
- Develop rubrics that distinguish experienced social work reasoning from generic textbook or policy-based responses
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, appropriateness, ethical awareness, and practical relevance
- Identify subtle reasoning errors, missing considerations, and unrealistic recommendations
- Provide clear written rationale supporting evaluation decisions
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of professional experience in social work, clinical social work, case management, behavioural health, child welfare, healthcare social work, or a closely related field
- Experience as a licensed clinical social worker, licensed social worker, senior case manager, or comparable professional
- Background within a hospital system, child welfare agency, behavioural health organisation, public agency, or large nonprofit is highly valued
- Direct ownership of clinical caseloads, family or child welfare cases, or programme-level service delivery
- Strong understanding of biopsychosocial assessment, trauma-informed care, strengths-based practice, and professional social work ethics
- Familiarity with mandated reporting, interagency coordination, case documentation, and ethical or legal compliance
- Experience using EHR, CCWIS, case-management, or comparable human-services systems
- Ability to communicate complex case reasoning clearly and precisely in writing
- LCSW, LMSW, or an equivalent recognised professional credential is strongly preferred
- Experience developing clinical training materials, case documentation, evaluation rubrics, or practice guidance is advantageous

- Part-time independent contractor engagement

- Compensation: $30–$40/hour
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
