We are sharing a full-time opportunity for an experienced Strategic Project Lead with strong expertise in software engineering, technical project leadership, data operations, human data pipelines, quality assurance, and scalable execution to lead coding-data programmes supporting advanced AI model training.
The role will own end-to-end delivery of coding and software-engineering data pipelines, working across technical experts, reviewers, engineering stakeholders, and client-facing teams. The successful candidate will combine strong software-engineering fluency with operational leadership, data-driven decision-making, automation, and disciplined execution across complex technical programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Coding Data Pipeline Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of coding and software-engineering data pipelines
- Manage programmes from initial requirements through production execution and delivery
- Ensure alignment across quality, timelines, technical specifications, and stakeholder expectations
- Identify operational risks and resolve delivery bottlenecks
- Maintain clear ownership across complex and rapidly evolving workflows
Workflow Automation & Scalable Operations
- Drive automation across task generation, validation, quality control, and reporting
- Identify repetitive operational processes suitable for automation
- Design scalable workflows that reduce manual overhead and improve consistency
- Improve reliability and throughput across technical data operations
- Support systems and processes that can scale alongside programme growth
Technical Quality & Evaluation Standards
- Define clear task specifications for coding and software-engineering work
- Develop golden samples and reference outputs that establish quality expectations
- Create and refine review rubrics for consistent technical evaluation
- Ensure reviewers and contributors apply standards accurately
- Maintain a high quality bar across human-generated technical data
Pipeline Performance & Analytics
- Track pipeline health across quality, average handling time, throughput, and delivery metrics
- Analyse operational data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop clear reporting around pipeline efficiency and quality
- Use quantitative evidence to prioritise operational improvements
- Evaluate the impact of process changes through measurable performance outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate across software-engineering experts, reviewers, technical staff, and client-facing teams
- Translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical specifications and workflows
- Maintain alignment across contributors with different technical and operational responsibilities
- Communicate programme status, risks, and priorities clearly
- Resolve ambiguity and drive decisions in fast-moving environments
Continuous Improvement
- Incorporate client feedback, audit findings, and performance data into programme improvements
- Identify recurring failure patterns and develop systemic solutions
- Improve quality-control processes as project requirements evolve
- Refine operational standards based on real-world pipeline performance
- Build repeatable practices that strengthen future technical-data programmes
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong understanding of software-engineering and coding fundamentals
- 2+ years of experience leading technical projects, data operations, or complex technical workflows
- Demonstrated leadership and team-management capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using operational and quality metrics to drive improvements
- Ability to translate client requirements into clear technical specifications
- Strong understanding of scalable workflow and process design
- Excellent stakeholder-management and written communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating across technical, operational, and client-facing teams
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity
- Experience with automation, technical data pipelines, human data, or AI-training operations is highly relevant

- Base compensation: $300,000–$500,000/year
- Work will involve coding-data pipeline leadership, technical operations, workflow automation, quality assurance, rubric development, and programme analytics
- Strong software-engineering fluency and operational leadership are central to this role
- Responsibilities will include coordination across technical experts, reviewers, internal teams, and external stakeholders
