We are sharing a specialised full-time consulting opportunity for licensed US pharmacists with strong expertise in medication management, clinical decision-making, prior authorisation workflows, and evidence-based medication review.

This role supports the development of advanced clinical AI systems designed to improve prior authorisation processes. Selected pharmacists will answer medication-related clinical questions, evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and safety, correct incomplete analyses, and provide structured feedback across medication access and clinical documentation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Medication & Clinical Question Review

  • Answer medication-related clinical questions using patient context, source materials, and project guidelines
  • Review medication indications, dosing recommendations, contraindications, and drug interactions
  • Assess treatment history and supporting clinical documentation
  • Apply evidence-based prescribing guidance and professional pharmacy judgment

AI Response Evaluation

  • Review AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and evidential support
  • Identify incorrect recommendations, unsupported conclusions, and missing clinical considerations
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete responses
  • Provide clear written explanations supporting each evaluation decision

Prior Authorisation Assessment

  • Review cases involving prior authorisation criteria and medication-access requirements
  • Assess whether clinical documentation supports the requested medication or treatment
  • Identify missing information, conflicting evidence, or unclear patient context
  • Escalate cases involving potential patient-safety concerns or insufficient clinical support

Annotation & Quality Assurance

  • Apply structured annotation guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards consistently
  • Participate in calibration and feedback sessions
  • Incorporate reviewer feedback promptly into future work
  • Maintain reliable accuracy and timely delivery across high-volume clinical review workflows

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • An active US pharmacist licence
  • A PharmD or equivalent professional pharmacy qualification
  • Strong experience with medications, pharmacy workflows, and clinical decision-making
  • Excellent knowledge of drug interactions, contraindications, dosing, and prescribing guidelines
  • Ability to interpret clinical documentation and medication histories
  • Strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail
  • Comfort following structured annotation and review guidelines
  • Availability to contribute approximately 30–40 hours per week

Educational Background

  • A PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree is required
  • Active pharmacist licensure in the United States is required
  • Residency training or advanced clinical pharmacy education may strengthen an application
  • Additional training in managed care, speciality pharmacy, medication access, or clinical informatics may be valuable

Nice to Have

  • Experience with prior authorisation or speciality pharmacy workflows
  • Background in managed care or medication access
  • Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or comparable electronic health record systems
  • Experience in clinical quality assurance or medication review
  • Previous exposure to AI evaluation, clinical content review, or healthcare data annotation
  • Knowledge of 340B programmes or medication assistance programmes
  • Experience identifying and escalating safety-critical or ambiguous clinical cases

Contract Details

  • Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
  • Work may include clinical question answering, AI response review, annotation, quality calibration, and prior authorisation assessment
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance
  • Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
