We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for licensed medical doctors with professional clinical experience, strong medical reasoning, and familiarity with clinical literature, guidelines, and real-world healthcare workflows.

This role supports an AI research initiative focused on improving how advanced systems understand and reason about healthcare topics. Selected physicians will review written and AI-generated content, answer clinical questions, identify relevant reference materials, and provide practical insight into medical decision-making, standards of care, and professional healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Content Evaluation

  • Review written content and AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, relevance, and professional quality
  • Assess whether medical explanations, recommendations, and conclusions reflect sound clinical reasoning
  • Identify factual errors, unsupported assumptions, omitted considerations, and potentially misleading guidance
  • Evaluate content within the candidate's strongest areas of clinical expertise

Medical Reasoning & Question Review

  • Answer healthcare questions using clear, well-reasoned clinical explanations
  • Apply professional judgment to diagnostic, treatment, patient-management, and care-delivery scenarios
  • Assess whether responses appropriately account for patient context, risk factors, contraindications, and clinical uncertainty
  • Provide corrections and supporting rationale where content requires improvement

Literature, Guidelines & Reference Review

  • Review the use of medical literature, clinical guidelines, and professional reference materials
  • Identify reliable sources relevant to assigned healthcare topics
  • Assess whether cited evidence is current, applicable, and interpreted appropriately
  • Highlight limitations, conflicting evidence, and contextual factors affecting clinical conclusions

Healthcare Workflow Expertise

  • Share insight into how physicians and healthcare teams approach clinical documentation, decision-making, and patient care
  • Evaluate content involving common tools, workflows, standards, and professional communication practices
  • Explain how medical information is applied across real-world clinical settings
  • Collaborate asynchronously with a small group of subject-matter experts across different fields

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • An active medical licence in the United States
  • At least 2 years of professional clinical experience
  • Broad or generalist clinical exposure across multiple patient populations or care settings
  • Strong familiarity with medical literature and clinical guidelines
  • Experience using resources such as PubMed, UpToDate, peer-reviewed research, or comparable clinical references
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Strong written communication, clinical reasoning, and attention to detail
  • Reliable availability for approximately 10 hours per week
  • Current residence in the United States

Educational Background

  • A Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent medical qualification is required
  • Active US medical licensure is required
  • Residency training and relevant board certification may strengthen an application
  • Continuing medical education and evidence-based practice experience may also be valuable

Nice to Have

  • Broad experience in primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, or another generalist clinical field
  • Prior teaching, supervision, or medical education experience
  • Experience supervising residents, delivering CME instruction, or developing clinical training materials
  • Familiarity with clinical quality assurance, peer review, or guideline development
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or comparable systems
  • Previous experience with content evaluation, structured feedback, or AI training projects
  • Experience translating complex medical concepts into clear written explanations
