About the job Remote | Senior HR Expert — $60–$70/hour
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for senior HR professionals with deep expertise in talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organisational design, and employment compliance.
This role supports advanced AI evaluation work focused on realistic human resources and workforce-management scenarios. Selected experts will design complex HR tasks, develop reference outputs, and create evaluation rubrics that reflect how experienced HR leaders approach people strategy, employee relations, compliance, and organisational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop realistic scenarios involving recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organisational staffing
- Create tasks reflecting hiring strategy, candidate assessment, workforce needs, and talent-pipeline decisions
- Apply practical HR judgement to complex workforce-planning challenges
- Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for feasibility, fairness, and organisational relevance
- Produce reference materials demonstrating senior-level talent-management decision-making
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Build scenarios involving employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Apply structured approaches to sensitive and complex employee-relations matters
- Develop reference investigation reports, recommendations, and performance-management documentation
- Evaluate whether proposed actions are procedurally appropriate and well supported
- Identify incomplete reasoning, compliance risks, or weak assumptions in HR recommendations
Compensation & Benefits
- Develop tasks involving compensation strategy, salary benchmarking, incentive design, and employee benefits
- Apply compensation benchmarking methodologies and market-data analysis
- Create reference compensation analyses and recommendations
- Assess pay structures for internal consistency, market competitiveness, and organisational fit
- Evaluate AI-generated compensation decisions for analytical quality and practical relevance
HR Compliance & Employment Law
- Create scenarios involving employment-law compliance and HR policy implementation
- Apply relevant US frameworks such as Title VII, FLSA, ADA, and applicable state employment laws where appropriate
- Apply international frameworks including the UK Employment Rights Act and relevant EU labour directives where applicable
- Evaluate HR policies, workplace decisions, and employee-relations processes for compliance considerations
- Identify legal, procedural, or documentation gaps in proposed HR responses
Organisational Development & HR Systems
- Develop scenarios involving organisational design, restructuring, workforce effectiveness, and change initiatives
- Apply knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and comparable systems
- Create tasks involving applicant tracking systems, compensation tools, and enterprise HR workflows
- Assess organisational structures and people processes against business objectives
- Produce reference organisational-design proposals and HR operating recommendations
AI Evaluation & Rubric Development
- Design expert-level evaluation tasks across HR and people-management workflows
- Draft reference outputs demonstrating strong professional HR judgement
- Develop rubrics that distinguish senior-level reasoning from generic or certification-level responses
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, compliance awareness, and practical relevance
- Identify subtle reasoning errors, unrealistic recommendations, and missing workforce considerations
- Provide clear written rationale supporting evaluation decisions
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of professional experience in human resources, people operations, talent management, employee relations, compensation, or organisational development
- Senior-level experience as an HR Leader, HR Director, VP of Human Resources, Chief People Officer, CHRO, HR Consultant, or comparable professional
- Direct ownership of talent programmes, employee-relations matters, compensation design, workforce planning, or organisational initiatives
- Strong understanding of HR methodologies including workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, performance management, and employee-relations investigations
- Familiarity with enterprise HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, applicant tracking systems, and compensation benchmarking tools
- Strong practical understanding of employment-law compliance within relevant jurisdictions
- Experience with US employment frameworks, international employment standards, or both
- Ability to communicate complex HR reasoning clearly and precisely in writing
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or an equivalent recognised professional credential is strongly preferred
- Experience developing HR training materials, evaluation rubrics, policies, or professional review frameworks is advantageous

- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
