We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced U.S. Immigration Attorneys with strong expertise in immigration law, legal writing, document review, legal research, case management, and complex client matters to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project.

Selected professionals will review immigration-law documents and scenarios, draft and evaluate legal content, conduct detailed legal research, and provide structured expert feedback on AI-generated legal outputs. The work is particularly suited to attorneys with BigLaw experience handling complex U.S. immigration matters and technology-enabled legal workflows. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

Immigration Law Review & Analysis

  • Review immigration-law documents and legal scenarios for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Analyse complex immigration matters using current legal principles and professional judgement
  • Identify legal errors, unsupported conclusions, and incomplete analysis
  • Assess whether legal content appropriately reflects relevant procedural and substantive requirements
  • Apply rigorous standards when reviewing complex or ambiguous case scenarios

Legal Writing & Document Evaluation

  • Draft, edit, and evaluate legal memoranda, briefs, case documentation, and related materials
  • Review AI-generated legal content for clarity, accuracy, and professional quality
  • Refine legal arguments and written analysis where necessary
  • Apply strong legal-writing standards across varied immigration matters
  • Ensure outputs are precise, well-structured, and appropriate for professional legal use

Legal Research & Technology-Enabled Workflows

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using professional tools and databases
  • Evaluate the relevance and reliability of legal authorities
  • Use case-management and document-review software in simulated or technology-enabled workflows
  • Assess how digital tools support immigration case analysis and legal operations
  • Apply technology fluency to improve workflow quality and consistency

AI Output Evaluation & Expert Feedback

  • Review AI-generated legal responses and identify areas requiring correction or refinement
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback explaining legal and analytical weaknesses
  • Evaluate model outputs for practical applicability and legal accuracy
  • Contribute high-quality expert judgement that improves legal AI systems
  • Help establish stronger standards for model reasoning across immigration-law scenarios

Cross-Functional Legal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with legal, research, product, and technical contributors
  • Translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for interdisciplinary teams
  • Contribute insights from sophisticated legal practice to project design and evaluation
  • Support refinement of legal datasets, review standards, and workflow frameworks
  • Maintain consistent communication across remote and technology-driven project environments

Ideal Profile

  • Active licence to practise law with demonstrated expertise in U.S. immigration law
  • Significant experience handling complex immigration matters and client advising
  • BigLaw experience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced legal-writing and analytical skills
  • Strong command of professional legal research tools and databases
  • Experience with case-management software and modern document-review technologies
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to critically assess legal information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaborative skills in multidisciplinary environments
  • Experience contributing to technology-driven legal projects or legal-operations initiatives is advantageous
  • Prior participation in AI, legal-tech, or technology-enabled legal evaluation projects is beneficial but not required
  • No prior AI-training experience is required

  • Compensation: $140–$400/hour
  • Work will involve immigration-law analysis, legal writing, document review, legal research, case-management workflows, and AI-output evaluation
  • Strong U.S. immigration-law expertise and sophisticated legal-practice experience are central to this engagement
  • BigLaw experience is particularly relevant to the intended project scope
  • Project workload, legal scenarios, technology requirements, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project needs
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party
