Key Responsibilities
Scientific Problem Solving
- Analyse technical and scientific problems across physics, chemistry, mathematics, or biology
- Apply structured reasoning to reach accurate and well-supported conclusions
- Break complex problems into clear and manageable steps
- Evaluate alternative approaches where multiple solution paths are possible
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and logical consistency
Quantitative Analysis & Modelling
- Apply quantitative methods appropriate to the relevant STEM domain
- Work with mathematical models, calculations, and data-driven reasoning where required
- Interpret numerical results and assess whether they are scientifically reasonable
- Identify assumptions, constraints, and relevant variables within analytical tasks
- Support modelling and analytical workflows across interdisciplinary problems
Domain-Specific Research
-
Apply academic or professional knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Biology
