Remote | Retail & Pharmacy Evaluation Consultant — $45–$55/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced US professionals across pharmacy, retail operations, store management, retail supervision, and professional investigations to evaluate realistic work products within their own field.

This role focuses on reviewing completed AI-generated work rather than producing or recreating the underlying deliverables. Selected professionals will assess whether tasks reflect authentic professional practice, whether operational, regulatory, and domain-specific content is accurate, and whether existing grading and quality scores are justified.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Work Product Review

• Review completed work products representing realistic pharmacy, retail, operations, or investigative tasks
• Examine task instructions, supporting files, completed deliverables, and evaluation results
• Determine whether outputs reflect genuine practitioner workflows
• Identify substantive operational, regulatory, factual, or professional errors
• Assess whether completed work would be usable or acceptable in a real professional environment

Task Realism Assessment

• Evaluate whether assignments accurately represent work performed in your profession
• Assess whether task descriptions, constraints, terminology, and expected outputs are realistic
• Distinguish authentic professional scenarios from borderline or contrived tasks
• Identify assumptions that conflict with actual industry practice
• Provide concise explanations supporting each judgement

Pharmacy Practice Review

• Evaluate pharmacy-related work for professional and regulatory accuracy
• Review dispensing, counselling, medication-safety, and workflow scenarios
• Identify errors involving prescription handling or patient-facing pharmacy processes
• Assess whether decisions reflect realistic community or retail pharmacy practice
• Apply practical judgement developed through hands-on dispensing experience

Retail & Store Operations

• Review store-management, staffing, inventory, scheduling, and operational work products
• Evaluate whether proposed decisions reflect realistic retail operations
• Assess P&L, staffing, inventory, and multi-site management considerations where relevant
• Identify operational assumptions that would not hold up in practice
• Apply hands-on judgement from direct store or location management

Inventory & Loss Prevention

• Review inventory counts, shrink-related issues, stock controls, and supporting records
• Assess whether figures and operational assumptions reconcile
• Identify inconsistencies involving inventory accuracy or retail controls
• Evaluate practical responses to discrepancies or operational problems
• Apply real-world experience supervising retail-floor operations

Investigative Work Review

• Evaluate investigative reports and case-related work where relevant
• Assess whether documentation reflects realistic investigative methods and professional standards
• Identify weak, unsupported, or inconsistent findings
• Review surveillance-related documentation and case reasoning
• Apply practitioner judgement based on direct investigative casework

Grading & Evaluation Review

• Review existing yes/no grading decisions against completed work
• Assess issues such as requirement compliance, fabricated information, terminology, formatting, and domain accuracy
• Identify grading decisions that are unsupported by the underlying evidence
• Explain clearly where and why you agree or disagree with an evaluation
• Apply consistent professional standards across reviewed assignments

Quality & Score Assessment

• Independently assess the overall quality of each completed work product
• Determine whether an experienced practitioner could realistically use or accept the output
• Assign an appropriate quality band based on professional standards
• Compare your judgement with the reported evaluation score
• Identify cases where scoring does not accurately reflect work-product quality

Structured Written Feedback

• Provide brief, clear rationales for individual review decisions
• Explain operational, regulatory, factual, or professional concerns precisely
• Distinguish material problems from minor presentation issues
• Support judgements with relevant hands-on professional experience
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail throughout each review

Ideal Profile

Applicants should have substantial hands-on experience in one of the following professional areas:

Pharmacy

• Active US pharmacist licence
• 4+ years of professional experience dispensing and counselling patients
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy practice
• Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing workflows, and professional pharmacy standards

Retail & General Operations Management

• 5+ years of experience owning responsibility for a store or multi-site operation
• Hands-on responsibility for P&L, staffing, and inventory
• Strong understanding of day-to-day retail operations
• Experience identifying and correcting operational or financial issues

Retail Sales Supervision

• 4+ years of experience supervising retail sales workers
• Hands-on responsibility for sales-floor scheduling and operations
• Direct experience managing shrink and inventory-related issues
• Strong practical understanding of store-level retail execution

Private Investigation

• Licensed where required by the relevant US state
• 4+ years of professional investigative experience
• Hands-on responsibility for your own casework and written reports
• Experience conducting investigations beyond public-records research
• Strong ability to evaluate evidence, reporting quality, and investigative reasoning

Additional Requirements

• Strong hands-on delivery experience within your profession
• Experience catching or correcting errors before they affected customers, clients, or operations is particularly valuable
• Near-native business English
• Ability to provide concise written explanations for professional judgements
• Comfortable reviewing spreadsheets, PDFs, and related professional documents
• Able to verify figures and internal consistency where relevant
• Corporate retail professionals without direct store or location-management experience are less aligned with this engagement
• Investigators whose work is limited primarily to public-records research are also less suited to the role

Engagement Details

• Part-time independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote within the United States
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
• Compensation: $45–$55/hour
• Approximately one hour of review work per item
• The first step is a recorded interview of approximately 15 minutes covering your professional expertise
• Once selected for the project, the first assignment is a brief intake profile that must be completed independently and unaided
• The role involves reviewing completed work rather than independently performing or recreating the underlying task
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
