Job Description
- Lead and manage the Product Development team, ensuring effective resource allocation, project prioritization, and achievement of departmental objectives.
- Develop annual product development plans and innovation roadmaps aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process from concept generation through commercialization and post-launch evaluation.
- Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring completion within agreed timelines, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Product Development Managers, Specialists, and team members to strengthen organizational capabilities and succession planning.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Drive product renovation, value engineering, cost optimization, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate consumer trends, market intelligence, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead supplier and OEM evaluation, selection, and relationship management to support product innovation and business growth.
- Review and approve product formulas, specifications, technical documentation, and commercialization plans.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, FDA requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, project performance, development efficiency, and launch success metrics, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to product development processes, systems, and team effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Thai nationality only.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science or other related fields.
- Strong knowledge of food science and product development principles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following product categories: Beverage, Sweet Confectionery, Cracker/Wafer, or Chocolate.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, disciplined, well-organized, with good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Possesses a Growth Mindset and is willing to continuously learn and improve.
