Job Description

  1. Lead and manage the Product Development team, ensuring effective resource allocation, project prioritization, and achievement of departmental objectives.
  2. Develop annual product development plans and innovation roadmaps aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
  3. Oversee the end-to-end product development process from concept generation through commercialization and post-launch evaluation.
  4. Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring completion within agreed timelines, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Coach, mentor, and develop Product Development Managers, Specialists, and team members to strengthen organizational capabilities and succession planning.
  6. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
  7. Drive product renovation, value engineering, cost optimization, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
  8. Evaluate consumer trends, market intelligence, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  9. Lead supplier and OEM evaluation, selection, and relationship management to support product innovation and business growth.
  10. Review and approve product formulas, specifications, technical documentation, and commercialization plans.
  11. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, FDA requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  12. Monitor departmental KPIs, project performance, development efficiency, and launch success metrics, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  13. Lead continuous improvement projects related to product development processes, systems, and team effectiveness.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Thai nationality only.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science or other related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of food science and product development principles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following product categories: Beverage, Sweet Confectionery, Cracker/Wafer, or Chocolate.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, disciplined, well-organized, with good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Possesses a Growth Mindset and is willing to continuously learn and improve.
