We are looking to hire Production Specialist for our client in KSA.

Controls the Chemical Processing activities associated with his respective plant to achieve planned production levels at optimum cost while maintaining quality standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Seek out and solve process and production problems and develop solutions for process improvement in the plant operation.

  • Process troubleshooting, resolve issues and improve quality, cost, and production rates.

  • Advise and/or train the production supervision and hourly personnel during the start-up and/or development of new processes in collaboration with a process engineer or team.

  • Analyze productivity, quality, cost, and maintenance data and use that information to optimize existing plant equipment.

  • Efficiently and effectively evaluate new or proposed equipment for the optimization of processes

  • Development of Excel files for production data collection, along with analysis of collected data to increase process reliability and/or increase production capacity.

  • Balancing parts of the plant operation and equipment to optimize production. - Design and implementation of new processes, modified product packaging, and/or equipment upgrades.
  • Capital projects management assignments as necessary to support plant improvements. Initiates creative technical ideas and contributes those ideas aimed to improve quality, safety, operations, cost reduction, and for plant modification. Includes evaluating change from a technical point of view and submission for review and approval of the Production Manager. Ensures the implementation of approved modifications.
  • Development of the start-up plan for the facilities, including supervision of commissioning and ramp-up planning; Interface with the operations team, to ensure facilities are operable and maintainable, and that the transition to operations are well planned and executed; Management of the Risk Register related to the facilities under control, and ensuring risk mitigation tasks are executed as required; Development of aquifer management plans.
  • Ensuring company policies, standards, and expectations are delivered at the site. Ensuring the interfaces between the site and off-plot activities are effectively addressed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 5-7 years experience in chemical processing. Minimum of 2 years experience to be at a similar level.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of production control systems and PC applications.
