Head Bartender (Female)

We are currently seeking a Head Bartender to join our team and lead our bar staff to deliver top-notch service and memorable drinking experiences and to be a part of our client's 5* hotel in Doha, Qatar.

As the Head Bartender, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, managing a team of talented bartenders, and ensuring that our guests enjoy an exceptional and memorable experience. Your expertise in crafting cocktails, knowledge of beverage trends, and strong leadership skills will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards we are known for.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update a diverse and appealing drink menu
• Develop and maintain the cocktail recipes and standards
• Train and mentor bartenders in preparing and serving drinks
• Maintain and manage bar inventory, ordering, and stock control
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service, engage with guests, and handle any issues or concerns
• Schedule and supervise bartending staff, including setting performance expectations
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff for food and drink pairings
• Handle cash and payment transactions
• Keep the bar area clean and well-organized
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adapt the menu accordingly

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
