We are looking to hire Operations Planning Manager for our client in KSA.

This position is responsible for the sales and operations planning process of converting the short- and long-term sales forecasts into monthly production plans, capacity valuations, and inventory projections. Also, it's responsible if the product development process in OTC.

Key accountabilities.

Production.

  • Deploy the sales and operations planning process for the entire rolling mill in Can Reclamation Unit.
  • Develop the production and inventory forecast.
  • Do the capacity evaluation and highlight any potential supply risks as well as mitigation plans if any?
  • Define the sales blocks in OTC.

Quality.

  • Comply with the approved working procedures.

Management.

  • Ensure the effective achievement of the planning functional objectives. Set the team and individual objectives, managing, performing, developing, and motivating staff.
  • Carry out the supervision of the sales operations planning team.

Job-relevant information.

  • The outcome of the sales and operations planning process is based on an approved set of assumptions as received from the different stakeholders like a commercial team, manufacturing unit managers as well as an engineering department.
  • The product development process is carried out based on the items set up forms developed by the Quality department.

Qualifications, experience, and skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain engineering, or related discipline, or a minimum of 10 years of progressive planning experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Three years of experience in production planning.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts. Mastering the sales and operations planning process.
  • Strong analytical skills in logical reasoning skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. More.
  • Excellent skills with Excel, and Adobe reporting tools like Business Objects in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to determine and do data-oriented problem-solving.
