One of Australia's largest and most established privately owned construction groups, with more than a century of construction history and an exceptional portfolio of landmark projects, is significantly expanding its Brisbane commercial teams. 1Recruit International is seeking six Contract Administrators across three major projects, providing opportunities to align your experience with luxury high-rise residential, premium commercial or major multi-tower precinct delivery.

THE PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES

$450M+ LUXURY HIGH-RISE | NEWSTEAD – 1 POSITION

Major riverfront residential development comprising a 25-storey luxury tower with 227 apartments, together with a six-storey boutique residential building. Ideal for a CA with high-rise residential experience seeking exposure to premium finishes, complex trade packages and major vertical construction.

$100M+ PREMIUM COMMERCIAL | FORTITUDE VALLEY – 1 POSITION

Nine-storey premium commercial development incorporating approximately 11,856m² GFA, retail, public realm, landscaped terraces and basement parking. Well suited to candidates with commercial building, services, façade or premium fit-out experience.

$1B+ MAJOR MULTI-TOWER PRECINCT | BOWEN HILLS – 4 POSITIONS

Major proposed four-tower residential precinct comprising 1,000+ apartments, requiring a substantial project and commercial delivery team. This represents an outstanding opportunity for CAs wanting exposure to a large-scale, programme-driven project environment and significant trade packages.

THE ROLE

Depending on project allocation, you will:

  • Manage trade procurement, tendering and detailed Scope of Works
  • Undertake tender analysis, negotiation and subcontract award
  • Administer subcontract packages from procurement through to close-out
  • Manage progress claims, variations and payment schedules
  • Monitor project costs, commitments and forecasts
  • Identify commercial, contractual and scope risks
  • Manage trade interfaces and scope gaps
  • Work closely with Commercial Managers, Project Managers, design and site teams
  • Take commercial ownership of allocated packages through to final account

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years' Contract Administration experience
  • Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related qualifications
  • Major commercial construction experience
  • High-rise residential, commercial or major building experience highly regarded
  • Strong procurement and Scope of Works capability
  • Sound knowledge of subcontract administration, variations and cost reporting
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills
