A major Australian construction business recognised for delivering some of Queensland's most significant and complex building projects is seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman to join its Brisbane delivery team. The appointment is to a new $100M+ premium commercial development in Fortitude Valley, comprising nine storeys of commercial office and retail space, landscaped terraces, public realm and two basement levels. This is a key site delivery position requiring a proven Finishes Foreman capable of taking ownership of the fit-out, finishes and completion programme, coordinating multiple trades and services interfaces through to Practical Completion and handover.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will:

• Lead all finishes, fit-out and completion works
• Coordinate partitions, ceilings, joinery, glazing, flooring, painting, amenities and final fit-out
• Drive progressive fit-out across commercial floors, retail and common areas
• Plan and sequence multiple finishing trades and work fronts to maintain programme
• Coordinate architectural finishes with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services
• Manage façade and architectural interfaces
• Monitor subcontractor productivity, workmanship and quality
• Review drawings and resolve design, coordination and constructability issues
• Manage ITPs, QA, inspections, defects and rectification
• Protect completed works and maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
• Drive progressive completion and defect close-out
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and authority inspections
• Take ownership of delivery through Practical Completion and final handover

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience as a Finishes Foreman / Finishes Supervisor
• Demonstrated experience on multi-storey commercial, mixed-use or premium building projects
• Strong commercial fit-out and architectural finishes knowledge
• Experience coordinating complex façade and building services interfaces
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts simultaneously
• Strong understanding of QA, defects, testing and commissioning
• Demonstrated experience taking projects through Practical Completion and handover
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation
• Strong site leadership, planning and problem-solving capability
• Relevant trade background and/or construction qualifications highly regarded

Candidates with a strong track record across premium office fitouts, high-quality architectural finishes and services-intensive commercial buildings will be particularly relevant.

Remuneration

$190K–A$225K + super, subject to experience and capability.

Candidates with extensive premium commercial or major project finishes experience will be considered toward the upper end of the range.
