A major Australian construction group with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects nationally is building its prospective delivery team for one of Brisbane's most significant future construction programs. This opportunity is associated with a major multi-building development at Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, forming part of the infrastructure and accommodation program supporting Brisbane 2032. The scale of the development will require multiple construction teams operating across concurrent buildings and work fronts. We are seeking an accomplished Structures Foreman capable of taking ownership of an allocated structure or project zone and driving it from commencement through to topping out.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will:

• Lead structural delivery across an allocated building or project zone
• Manage formwork, reinforcement, concrete, post-tensioning, precast and structural steel
• Plan and drive floor cycles, sequencing and programme milestones
• Coordinate structural subcontractors, labour, plant, materials and cranage
• Manage multiple structural work fronts and maintain productivity
• Review drawings, specifications and methodologies for constructability
• Identify sequencing, temporary works and trade interface issues
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship
• Manage ITPs, inspections, hold points, concrete pours and structural QA
• Maintain rigorous WHS standards across all structural activities
• Coordinate interfaces with façade, services, waterproofing and following trades
• Work closely with Project Engineers, structural engineers and project leadership to resolve technical issues
• Take ownership of the allocated structure through to topping out and handover

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience as a Structures Foreman / Structures Supervisor with proven delivery of multi-storey concrete structures
• Strong formwork and concrete structures expertise
• Demonstrated ability to drive efficient and demanding floor cycles
• Experience coordinating multiple structural subcontractors and work fronts
• Strong knowledge of reinforcement, post-tensioning, precast and structural sequencing
• Understanding of structural drawings, temporary works, tolerances and QA
• Strong site leadership, planning and subcontractor management capability
• Relevant trade background, qualifications, licences and tickets highly regarded
• Experience across large-scale apartment developments, residential precincts, hotels, student accommodation or other repetitive multi-storey structures will be particularly relevant.

Candidates must also be comfortable working as part of a large, highly structured project team, with multiple buildings progressing concurrently and programme milestones that cannot afford to slip.
