About the Role 

We are looking for a Senior PHP Fullstack Developer to support backend development and ongoing enhancements across PHP-based fundraising platforms. This role will focus on building priority features, maintaining existing systems, and supporting integrations with related services and third-party tools. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and web technologies, as well as the ability to work within structured development workflows involving code reviews and coordinated deployments. 

Key Responsibilities 

Develop backend features in PHP and Laravel for priority platform initiatives. Support integrations with related services, including prize store, print/welcome kits, and solicitation capabilities. Maintain and enhance a PHP custom and MySQL-based core platform through incremental features, optimizations, and ongoing support. Coordinate with an external MSP during the transition period for an acquired product. Build and maintain third-party integrations related to fundraising workflows, including payment gateways, email, texting, and donation flows. Work within the client's development process using GitLab, code reviews, and coordinated deployments. 

Must-have Requirements 

Senior-level experience as a PHP Fullstack Developer. Strong backend development experience with PHP. Hands-on experience with Laravel. Strong experience with MySQL. Experience with JavaScript, including jQuery. Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience working with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and coordinated deployment processes. Ability to support, maintain, and optimize existing PHP-based applications. 

Nice-to-have Requirements 

Experience with fundraising, donation, or nonprofit-related platforms. Experience integrating payment gateways, email platforms, texting services, or similar third-party tools. Experience coordinating with external vendors or MSPs during product transitions.
