Job Title: Ssr. Backend Engineer (.NET / AWS)

About the Role
We are looking for a Semi Senior Backend Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join a dedicated product team working on a full product redesign. This role will focus on building a modern, modular API layer using cloud-native technologies and scalable backend services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in Agile environments, contributing to clean architecture, code reviews, and high-quality deliverables. This opportunity is open only to candidates based in Mexico who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API endpoints using C# and AWS serverless services.
- Build and evolve a modern, modular backend architecture as part of a larger product redesign.
- Integrate backend services with PostgreSQL databases using Entity Framework Core.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and maintainable code standards.
- Develop testable, high-quality backend components for distributed and cloud-native applications.
Must-have Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong experience with C#.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Understanding of scalable API design and modular architecture.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
- Fluent English.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Based in Mexico.
